BASIC PROVISIONS

1. This document regulates the rules of the referral program operated by: 

   • Business name: BikeUP s.r.o. Registered office: Vajnorská 136/A, 831 04 Bratislava ID number (IČO): 50257391 Email: [email protected] 
     (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator")

2. The program allows customers (hereinafter referred to as the "User") to earn a reward for recommending BikeUP services to third parties.  

DEFINITIONS

1. Referral code – a unique code assigned to the User.

2. New customer – a person who has not yet used BikeUP services and uses the referral code when placing an order.

3. Credit – internal credit assigned to the User's account, applicable to future orders.

4. Discount – a price reduction for the New customer upon using the code.  

USE OF THE REFERRAL CODE

1. The User may share their referral code with third parties.

2. A New customer may use the code during the order process to obtain a discount.

3. The amount of the discount and the amount of credit are not fixed and may change according to the current offer of the Operator.

4. The current conditions (discount/credit amounts) are always available in the user profile under the affiliate program tab or during the checkout process.

5. The referral code cannot be used for one's own orders.

6. The Operator reserves the right to reject the use of the code in case of suspected misuse.  

ENTITLEMENT TO CREDIT

1. The User earns credit provided that:   The New customer uses their referral code, and at the same time   the order is duly paid for, and at the same time   the bicycle is successfully delivered or personally collected  

2. The credit is allocated only after all conditions under point 4.1 are met.

3. In the event of order cancellation, failure to accept the delivery, or payment refund, the right to credit does not arise.

4. If the credit was allocated unjustifiably, the Operator reserves the right to retroactively revoke it.  

USE OF CREDIT

1. The credit can be used exclusively to pay for services on the BikeUP website.

2. The credit cannot be paid out in cash or transferred to another person.

3. The credit may have a limited validity period, which is indicated in the user profile under the affiliate program tab.

4. The credit constitutes a marketing benefit and is not a legally enforceable financial asset.

5. The credit is automatically applied to the nearest due payment for the User's services unless stated otherwise.  

RESTRICTIONS AND PROHIBITIONS

1. It is prohibited to:  

   • use one's own referral code  

   • create multiple accounts for the purpose of gaining credit  

   • distribute the code in a manner that violates legal regulations or good morals  

   • distribute the referral code in the form of unsolicited mail (spam)  

   • use paid advertising (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads) to promote the referral code, especially using keywords associated with the BikeUP brand  

2. The Operator reserves the right, in cases of suspected misuse, to:   cancel or decline to apply the credit   suspend or terminate the user account   exclude the User from the program  

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

1. The Operator processes personal data in accordance with applicable legal regulations.

2. Detailed information on the processing of personal data is provided in the "Privacy Policy" document available on the Operator's website.

3. When sharing the referral code, the User must not unlawfully process the personal data of third parties.  

AMENDMENT AND TERMINATION OF THE PROGRAM

1. The Operator reserves the right to:  

   • change the reward amounts and the program conditions  

   • terminate the program at any time  

2. Amendments take effect upon their publication on the website.  

LIABILITY

1. The Operator is not responsible for:  

   • incorrect use of the code  

   • technical issues when applying the code  

FINAL PROVISIONS

1. These terms and conditions become effective on 1.5.2026

2. By participating in the program, the User agrees to comply with these terms.
